2008 Annual Conference

This year the PFDMA will be hosting its annual conference April 6-8 as a stand-alone event (and not in conjunction with USMSA) in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Change is everywhere within our industry and in an effort to keep up with that change – the theme of our 2008 event will be “Expansion and Renewal.”

We have a vigorous and energetic program lined up (see draft agenda enclosed), which includes some presentations and demonstrations on swift water and flood rescue.

The conference officially opens on Sunday evening (April 6th) with a Welcome Reception, followed by business sessions on Monday and Tuesday. Monday afternoon will be spent at the U.S. Whitewater Center. Be sure to indicate on the registration form if you plan to go on the rafting trip. Our event will conclude at lunchtime on Tuesday.

We have secured a special rate of $129 per room (single/double) effective only until March 21st so please make your reservations early to take advantage of this discount.
